Church description
Okemos Community Church is an independent congregation that affiliates with The United Methodist Church. We are a main-line congregation with a more progressive theology and a deep commitment to missions and outreach, both locally and globally.
We are 2 miles from Michigan State University with all that has to offer. Our area high schools (Okemos, East Lansing and Haslett) consistently rate among the best in the state.
We are in an exciting time of change and growth with a solid staff of energized leaders, both paid and volunteer, and a new focus to build ministries with youth and young adults (undergrad, grad, foreign students and young professionals/families).
Currently one worship traditional service, but plan to launch a second distinctly different service in the future.
