In a suburb of Phoenix, AZ, we are ranked by Barna Research as one of the least Bible-minded metro areas in the U.S. While the sun shines more often here, the spiritual darkness is a reality and we need help sharing the light of Jesus.

First Baptist Church Garden Lakes in Avondale, AZ is committed to the authority of God’s Word, is conservative in its doctrine - progressive in its methods. A 60 years young ministry, the church is experiencing revitalization under the leadership of our Pastor, called in 2011. With an outward focus on reaching the lost, we have much the feel of a church plant (rather than a long lived church) with many newcomers and brand new believers.
