Church description
3 years ago Orangewood was the typical big tent, mostly white, upper-middle class Presbyterian Church.
However, we have since had an influx of African Refugee families which has changed the face of our congregation in many ways. We have 2 separate immigrant groups worshiping with us each week. Our leadership has taken the bold step to hire a Director of Christian Education who will be responsible for children’s ministry with, and for all the children in our community, African and American.
Our congregation is very committed to mission and service in our city and abroad. We do 3 international mission trips a year. We and have a flourishing youth program. We have a strong commitment to excellent music across multiple styles of worship.
