Eatonton First United Methodist Church is a vibrant 700-member church in a rural community of Putnam County that is growing & has a heart for making disciples of Jesus Christ. They are known as the church with a heart in the heart of the historic district of Eatonton, Ga. They have a new Senior Pastor (since June of 2016) who is bringing a lot of vitality & youthfulness back to the church. They are very welcoming & loving church that is actively involved in this community. Being in a rural area, Eatonton is off the beaten path but is close to both Lake Sinclair & Lake Oconee with lots of recreational opportunities. It's tight knit community that truly loves one another.
