About Midway UMC

The people of Midway United Methodist Church deeply desire to be a congregation of passionate followers of Jesus extending our reach as a missional church to transform the world, wherever we touch it.

We gather regularly to worship God, to read and discuss Jesus’ teachings, to share our joys and struggles, and to welcome newcomers and relieve suffering wherever we can. Our three Sunday worship services are each unique and meet for about 60 mins.

MUMC is a healthy, growing congregation of about 800 active attenders located 28 miles north of Atlanta in “midway” between the suburban neighborhoods of Fulton, Cherokee, and Forsyth Counties. The Midway community is very family friendly and home to the highly rated Forsyth County School District (#1 GA county system in 2015) in addition to a number of excellent private schools. It is close to all that Atlanta has to offer, and is in easy driving distance to the beach (5 hours) or the mountains (1 hour).

MUMC is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced, relational, and strategic thinking leader who wants to join a thriving church and close knit professional team. The incoming Youth Minister will be called on to build on a basic foundation while creatively developing a future that engages students and their families to embrace our vision above...extending our reach as a missional church.
