Youth Minister, First United Methodist Church of Florence, Alabama
First United Methodist of Florence is a historic congregation downtown, near the University of North Alabama. We have about 400 in weekly worship and 70- 80 youth on roll. We are traditionally strong in music, worship, and Sunday school. First Methodist is a missional congregation with a strong outreach to the under-privileged of the area, with many ongoing international and national mission projects.
The youth group has immediate needs and is ready for someone with energy and love of young people to lead.
Desired qualities include: outgoing and friendly nature, love of young people, interest in mission work with the youth, strong teaching and discipling skills, and organizational gifts.
