First Baptist Church St. Albans, WV

We are an intergenerational church located downtown in a community of 11,000. We are located about 15 miles west of Charleston,WV, the state capital. The church is 157 years old, but maintains a vibrant, active ministry that encompasses birth to 100 years old. It is a loving church that recognizes that youth and children are not the church of tomorrow, but the church of today. We have a well established youth group of 30-40 and an adult advisory team that are looking forward to what God has in store for the future. We are active in the West Virginia Baptist Convention, which has an excellent state wide youth ministry that includes several events each year that our youth are involved in, as well as a great summer camping ministry at Camp Cowen. We are a part of the American Baptist Churches-USA and theologically would be seen as conservative evangelical.
