About the Location: Yorktown is steeped in 400 years of American history, with hundreds of historical sites and attractions in the area that draw visitors from around the world each year. Yorktown is part of the Historic Triangle (along with Williamsburg and Jamestown), and is rich in Revolutionary and Civil War history. Yorktown is also the eastern terminus of the TransAmerica Trail, a bicycle-touring route created by the Adventure Cycling Association. Historic Yorktown is comprised first of Water Street, a small strip along the beach on the river; it contains several small restaurants, a park, a hotel, a pier, an antique shop. In May 2005, a building was constructed with more shops and restaurants, enhancing what is known as the "Riverwalk" section on the waterfront. With its proximity to beautiful beaches, rivers, the Blue Ridge Mountains, outstanding schools, and a high quality of life, Hampton Roads is undoubtedly a great place to live and raise a family.

Victory Church

Trial and triumph, doubt and discovery, experience and evolvement... spirituality is the greatest journey of one’s life. Most people believe in God, but have yet to discover the fullness of God.

Victory Church is a place where people are welcomed to belong without being judged. We believe that everyone can discover a tangible relationship with Jesus and apply His word in their everyday lives.

We are committed to helping people understand and access the transforming power of God. We respect where people are in their walk and will patiently help them navigate how to become more Christ like. We are a church dedicated to growing each individual’s whole life and believe that the word of God changes lives.

This is the place where people learn how to better lead themselves and their families, strengthen marriages, manage their resources, heal from tragedy and move in their calling.

We value excellence in the creative arts to inspire authentic worship and we create space for deep connection with the spirit of God.

Victory Church is deeply concerned for the next generation of the faith. We are a church that actively supports our children from cradle to college and into the workforce. We place great value in intergenerational mentoring where juniors and seniors can learn from each other.

Becoming sacrificially selfless is key to every believer’s spiritual growth. We are a church that is generous with our time, talent and treasure. Together, we participate in community service, global missions and contribute to other ministries and community-based organizations.

Victory Church is where life happens. We are a family bonded by the love of Jesus. We promote scriptural living. We aim to encourage people to embrace the purpose God has designed for them. We aim to empower people to live their lives, not just endure their lives and help them see that obstacles are opportunities meant to build them up.

We are VICTORY CHURCH.
