Church description
Crestwood Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a thriving, family-oriented congregation situated less than a mile from the campus of the University of Kentucky in Lexington. We are focused on helping people grow in and live out their faith through education, worship, and service. We dedicate 17% of our budget to outreach and have a gym/mission center that is in constant use by the community. We have a strong children's ministry (and newly renovated and expanded children's wing) and our youth ministry continues to grow. We are on the liberal end of the theological spectrum but have members all across the theological and political spectrum. Our goal is to help everyone experience the love of Christ and share that love with others. Our vision statement is "connecting people with God and each other."
