We are an active, vital congregation reaching out to help one another and all of God’s children here in our community and wherever help is needed around the world! We are a church of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Synod of South Atlantic, and the Presbytery of New Harmony. The governing body is the Session, which is composed of 30 elders elected by the congregation. The Session is divided into 16 committees. Each is made up of a staff person, an elder as moderator, and appointed members of the congregation. We have 3-4 services every week including a Thursday night worship service as well as a contemporary service on Sunday mornings. Our young families are very active and excited to work with a new youth director.
