Someone with a strong sense of call to progressive, relational youth ministry
Youth ministry in Methodist Temple includes sixth-twelfth graders, with an average of 20 teens participating in Sunday evening youth group. Responsibilities include leadership of weekly Sunday school and youth group, organizing seasonal retreats and mission trips, and recruiting and training volunteers. Qualifications for Youth Ministry Director
High school diploma required (must be actively pursuing higher education)
Strong sense of call to relational youth ministry
United Methodist or Wesleyan affiliation preferred, but not required
Age 22 or older
Pass a criminal background check
Position is currently 3/4 time, no benefits. May transition to full-time as the ministry grows. Salary range $28-33,000 depending on education and experience. Reports directly to Lead Pastor.
