Church description

First Baptist Kannapolis is excited as we prepare to invite a full-time children's minister to serve the Lord in our congregation. We are willing to invest in this important role and look forward to the impact the Lord will make through the service of this individual. We have dedicated families and great volunteers, but are in search of a full-time ministry leader, one who will drive home a vision to bring about growth to our children's ministry, birth through 6th grade. We are a traditional church with regard to worship style and enjoy the benefits of those practices, yet we enjoy creativity in worship on occasion when done with excellence.

First Baptist is a downtown church in a downtown that is quickly changing. Currently, the downtown is torn up as a baseball stadium is being constructed and new surrounding shops and apartments are planned and will be built shortly following. There is tremendous potential for our future. One of the most special things about our children's ministry is the outreach for children and their families through our fall soccer ministry, approaching its 10th season.

We are praying for God's best and can't wait to meet our new children's minister. Thank you for your consideration and know that we'll be praying over each resume as we seek the Lord's will for this hire.
