Job Description

Teach, contact, recruit, organize youth
Meet with youth Sunday, Wednesday
Plan youth meetings weekly
Summer camp yearly as well as other trips, retreats, camps
Attend staff, planning, and deacon meetings
Contact youth through media outside church
Involve youth in worship services
Provide opportunities for community service
Teach youth how to lead their friends to Christ
Motivate youth to practice personal Bible study
Work and communicate with pastor and all staff
Get to know and communicate with parents
Preach as needed when the pastor is away, etc.
Maintain a Godly personal testimony and reputation

Dayspring Community Church

Conservative, rural setting, variety of age groups, Sunday AM and Wednesday services, missions oriented, debt free, 25 years in existence, youth and children comprise 25% of congregation

We started in a day care, went to a local school, and have a sanctuary, fellowship hall, and classrooms. We have 17 acres of land with plenty of room to grow.
