Church description
Congregation of approximately 170 people, 46 of which are 18 or younger. There are approximately 20 young people in 6th-12th grade who are currently involved on various levels in the beginning stages of a "youth group" run by several of their parents. This is an active congregation spanning most age groups and is made up of people from many different church, educational, and economic backgrounds with the common goal of learning to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through the teaching and study of the Bible, prayer, and relationships with one another. Located in midcoast Maine, we are involved both locally and in the larger communities around Bath, Maine and also internationally through the missionaries sent out and/or supported by our church. There is an active Sunday School program in place with Sunday morning classes, mid week Bible Study, family activities, and some youth events; however, we are in need of a more comprehensive youth program that would serve the spiritual lives of our young people and their families.
