Faith is more than what happens on Sunday mornings. It's a part of who we are, inside and out. At Shalom Baptist Church, we believe in sharing the joy of the gospels daily, and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.

Church description

“Shalom” in Hebrew means “peace”, but the original definition has much more depth to it. True “Shalom” carries with it the idea of “completeness/being made complete.” Therefore, we as a church are always striving to be “the complete church using our complete gifts completely.” What does this mean? It means that in all that we do, we desire to serve Christ and to serve others passionately while using our God-given gifts and talents. We want you to be a part of the exciting things happening at Shalom, too. We will not be complete without you!

Worship at Shalom is inspirational! Each Sunday we meet to share in a time of renewing our spirits and finding new ways of sensing God's presence in our lives. Our services are a rich time of thanksgiving, praise, fellowship, communicating and listening to God. Services at Shalom offer an inspired message from our pastor, joyful, praise-filled music that is both traditional and contemporary, and opportunities for all ages of the Shalom family to participate.

Our services are held each Sunday at 8:30 am & 11:00 am in our Sanctuary. The first Sunday of the month is our observance of the Lord's Supper. We also celebrate in other special worship services throughout the year (such as Maundy Thursday, a community Thanksgiving Service, Hanging of the Green Service, and a candlelight, Christmas Eve Service.)

Children are a welcome part of our services, but we also offer Children's Church. For younger children (birth - age 4), we provide childcare each week.
