The members at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Evanston are diverse in many ways. We come from all over the United States — representing broad interests, varying religious backgrounds and spiritual orientations, different lifestyles, a multiplicity of talents, and a variety of personal, social and political concerns.
We value the traditions of our founding members, seeking a deeper relationship with God through worship, prayer, personal study and service to others. We gather as a community to worship and grow in communion with God. We respect preaching of the Word that is theologically sound, spiritually challenging and practical in its application.
At Northminster, there are many opportunities to study the written Word and teach our children about God’s love. Creative, energetic teachers and staff lead our Christian education and youth programs.
