I believe that God has called me into ministry and has thus equipped me with the skills, knowledge and passion to help the children, youth, and young adults to grow in Jesus and to become disciples in their own right. I live by the creed that God does not call the equipped, He equips those He calls to lead His ministry.
I currently possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and I am pursuing my Doctoral Degree in Organizational Leadership in Christian Ministry.

In the past five years, working in children’s and student ministry, I have engaged in major event planning and coordination, helped lead student camps, as well as engaged in recruiting, training and developing a volunteer staff. In my time with Lifepoint Church, the youth ministry grew by 89% and averaged 120 students to weekly events, with 200 at major events. In addition, my work has including building groups, developing initiatives, and managing events. In my current position as Student Director, I have developed direction and vision and have created a discipleship ministry within the church.
• Director of Youth/Student Ministry: Formulate vision and strategy for youth ministry • Build, grow, and manage youth ministry reaching churched and unchurched youth • Volunteer Recruiting, Training, Coaching, and Development • Extensive management experience, leadership, problem solving, speaking and administration • Volunteer with children in church/religious setting: Lesson planning and Sermon Delivery • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Major event planning and organizing, including coordinating activities
These experiences have allowed me the opportunity to deliver messages, mentor students inside and outside of church, and to develop myself as pastor and program manager. My background in counseling and psychology affords me the knowledge and skills to work with students at all levels of psychological and intellectual development, as well as the ability to work with families in parenting, relationships, and all areas of human development. In my time in ministry I have demonstrated the ability to not only grow a ministry, but also the ability to provide leadership and direction, and to increase my student’s connection to their faith.
As a counselor I feel that God has provided me with the unique ability to understand youth and young adults in ways that address the many issues faced today by students and also to make genuine and lasting connections with not only students, but also families and those facing spiritual and non-spiritual issues.
I have extensive experience in project management, coordination, human resources, strategic management, branding, as well as in human development, counseling, and mentoring. The combination of direct experience in ministry and as a leader and business owner I have the ability to lead, coach, inspire, mentor, and to build and direct a ministry.
