Eastwood Baptist Church Monroeville, AL 2016 – Present
Position: Full Time Student Pastor
• Studied cultural trends and created a new Wednesday night youth program that initially took average attendance from 12-14 to 18-20, saw 11 first time visitors, produced 7 salvation commitments and 5 baptisms • Developed a student leadership program that created a student led praise team, established mentoring relationships, taught character and leadership skills, developed outreach efforts, and attended Student Leadership University in Orlando, Florida • Led the youth program in curriculum changes that would expose students to 100 % of scripture during their time in the youth program • Assisted the church leadership in creating a vision for the future of the church • Developed, organized, and led mission trips to Hammond, Louisiana, Orange Beach, Alabama and Gulf Shores, Alabama • Motivated and assisted the VBS director to reach out to five local apartment complexes where we bused 49 kids to VBS and saw 8 salvations for the week • Organized and partnered with other churches to create community wide outreach events • Initiated and partnered with our college leaders to form a college ministry to the local softball team that resulted in several of them attending small group Bible study • Planned, advertised, and led the church to participate in a missions project to a local apartment complex

Ministry Goals
• Complete formal training in crisis counseling to be better equipped to lead life change in students who are going through some sort of crisis • Develop a leadership program where students will be taught character and leadership skills, discover their talents and gifts, learn to use those talents and gifts through the local church, and attend Student Leadership University in Orlando, Florida • Implement a small group teaching plan that will walk students through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation • Train and equip adult leaders to mentor and disciple students from the example of Titus 2 • Promote excellence in the entirety of the student ministries budget spending, activity selections, and weekly services • Create an environment of trust where students and their families can express their needs • Help students discover and pursue God sized dreams for their future • Create a student ministry that to the best of our ability mirrors the community around it
