Dexter Humphrey's résuméLast updated
I am an ordained minister specializing in Christian Education and Entrepreneurship who is called to empower students to fulfill their God given purpose by utilizing their gifts and talents.
My ministry career experiences have provided opportunities to work with several engaging and global ministries such as the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, T.D. Jakes and the Potter's House, Bahamas Faith Ministries, The Faith Center and Elizabeth Baptist Church. I have also had the privilege of impacting students and faculty at the following institutes of higher learning such as Florida Atlantic University, Florida International University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, Louisiana State University and Clark Atlanta University. My years of academic training and ministry experience also include working with students in community organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club of America, the Fulton and Douglass County Library Systems and the Broward County school system in the areas of education / literacy, life skills development, and personal growth. My involvement with these organizations has provided a synergistic knowledge capable of aligning with your ministry's educational mission. I am passionate about educating individuals and developing productive leaders. I have successfully developed literacy programs such as R.E.A.D. 25, community events, and forums in my community and various centers of learning.
I am very aware of the importance of academics and ministry development as I have utilized these resources in achieving my educational goals. After earning my Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1995, I became a fulltime student starting in 2011 to develop my call to ministry. I have rigorously attained two Master degrees: the first Master of Arts degree is in Leadership Studies from Beulah Heights University (2013); and the second Master of Arts degree is in Christian Education from the Interdenominational Theological Center (2015).
My educational endeavors have equipped me with vital knowledge and experience that will be an asset in representing the usefulness of ministry planning, the creation of educational resources, and leadership development. As the author of over 50 books, I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss how I can utilize my skills, talents, and education to empower students in reaching their potential through their association with your fine ministry. I am a seasoned speaker and communicator providing keynote presentations to various churches, universities and grade schools.
