Job Description

We're looking for someone equally stoked about hanging out with high school teens each week, being a disciple-maker, and helping them to grow their relationship with Christ. Are you someone with humble confidence who isn't afraid to walk into a group of high schoolers and start a conversation that engages them? If you said yes to both, we’re looking for you. A passionate young leader, excited by the opportunity to remind a student how much purpose and value they have in Christ. RESPONSIBILITIES
Have a blast! If we're not fun, we can't talk Jesus with students. At Remix, you'll have to be goofy and relatable, chill and different.
Make disciples. At Sagebrush, we need to make a big church small. We hope to build authentic relationships and lead students to committed discipleship in their walk with Jesus.
Go where they are. We're constantly looking to improve our outreach to reach this community and city! We want to go where they are and see the lost come to find Jesus.
Build a Team. Actively recruit and provide leadership to a team of campus volunteers to reach into students’ lives by whatever means possible.
Follow Up. Build a ministry that is relentless in reaching students and following up with them once we’ve had the opportunity to have them be a part of what we do. Let them know we care and would do anything to have them become a part of our Sagebrush family.
Run point. You'll be the go-to person for the designated student ministry and provide oversight to the students in your community.
You're not alone. Partner with our team of student pastors and leaders throughout the state, who plan big and bodacious events to bring students together. While creating a space for you to learn and build the ministry you've been entrusted with.
Every student matters. We want our student pastors to make an effort to build relationships with every student who comes in and multiply themselves by training leaders.
Share the Gospel. Leading weekly gatherings for large group service and small group gatherings.

QUALIFICATIONS
Be a trailblazer when it comes to inspiring others about their relationship with Jesus Christ.
You’ll need to be gripped by the vision to fulfill the Great Commission.
Hold, or are about to attain a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies, Youth Ministry, Christian Studies, or Christian Leadership. Other areas of focus will be considered.
Have 2-3 years of youth ministry or youth camp leadership experience.
Have a little swagger to connect with high school students and bring them to the Remix community.
Ability to prioritize your time so you can enjoy a healthy work/life balance.
Enjoy the details of a plan that considers every detail but flexible enough to pivot on short notice.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities, yet offer loads of fun while winning one more for Christ.

Sagebrush offers a casual environment where people can experience contemporary worship, be biblically accurate and culturally relevant, and engage with one another through the teaching of the Bible. During the selection process, Sagebrush Church's practice is to provide preference to those who attend a weekly service and align with the Staff Covenant and Church Values.
