Job Description

Provide guidance to all levels of Sunday School to enhance the learning
experience
Explore and recommend curriculum for Sunday School, Vacation Bible
School, Confirmation classes, and the Pocket youth program
Work with the Session Education and Nurture Committee to deliver quality
Christian education programming for all ages
Provide volunteer training as needed
Work with the Vacation Bible School Planning Team to review and select
programs, select volunteers, and facilitate the complete event
Coordinate seasonal children’s ministry events such as the annual Easter
Egg Hunt, Trunk-or-Treat, and the Children’s Christmas Program
Coordinate summer mission trips and activities for older youth in
cooperation with the pastor, Session, parents, and volunteer youth leaders
Attends monthly Session meetings and provides reports of activities
related to Christian education
Direct on-going youth ministry programming (K-12th grade) and preschool
ministry as scheduled
Other duties as assigned
