Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry

Are you an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic person with a strong Christian faith and the desire to reach and minister to middle school and high school youth, young adults and their families?

The Presbyterian Church in Basking Ridge, NJ, is seeking a full-time Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry with a vision for nurturing and inspiring youth to grow in their journey of faith. This person will provide leadership for our youth ministry, creating settings and experiences tailored for youth involvement in all aspects of church and spiritual life. Through this ministry, we seek to provide opportunities for youth to live out their faith and discover the relevance and value of Christ’s teachings in their everyday lives.

You should be comfortable working in a team environment to lead weekly middle school and high school fellowship meetings, recruit and empower adult volunteers, and form friendships and mentoring relationships with the youth and young adults in our congregation and surrounding community.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, experience connecting with and/or leading youth, and be able to demonstrate a strong biblical knowledge and a spiritual foundation.

This position will report to the Pastor/Head of Staff.
