Director of Congregational Discipleship

Job Description

Grinnell United Methodist Church is looking for someone to join our
ministry team as a Director of Congregational Discipleship who will be
Serving full-time to assist the church in accomplishing its mission:
Living, Loving, Sharing God's Word.

The Director of Congregational Discipleship will provide leadership and
implementation of the discipleship and groups ministries of the church for
children, youth, and adults. They will give attention to the discipleship pathway
of people in the church from outsider to insider including engagement in
groups, serving, and stewardship. This position will implement the ministry
systems for the areas of children & youth as well as recruit, train and lead
volunteer teams to implement ministry on Sunday mornings and throughout
the week as needed.
