NorthPoint Church is a dynamic community of people seeking to cultivate communities of grace and truth in the northwest corner of Des Moines, IA. With a total population of more than 630,000, US News and World Report names Des Moines as one of the top ten best places to live based on a combination of factors, including jobs, desirability, cost of living, and quality of life. Des Moines is a hot spot for the insurance and publishing industries and is a significant campaign spot for presidential politics. The area also hosts one of the nation’s top state fairs each August and draws tens of thousands to its downtown farmers market each week from May- October. You’ll find all the amenities of a large city in a place with a small-town feel.

As we aim to cultivate communities of grace and truth in all we do at NorthPoint, we specifically show it in three ways: looking to Jesus, embracing community, and engaging culture. You’ll see those values woven into each event we host, group we form, or church service we offer. Average attendance with in-person and online combined is 1000. Our 20+ member staff emphasizes meeting people where they’re at and connecting them to each other and to Jesus.
