Job Description

Concord United Methodist (Knoxville, TN) seeks a Full-Time Assistant Director of Children’s Ministries. The Assistant Director of Children's Ministries will be responsible for the ministry of preschool age children and their families, the management of nursery workers and volunteers, and the recruiting of volunteers for children's ministry. The assistant director will also work alongside the Director of Children's Ministries. The goal of this team is to lead the church to reach unchurched young families, recruit and train volunteers, and help parents incorporate faith into the life of their families.

A B.A. or B.S. degree is recommended. Previous children's ministry experience is valued. And an appreciation for Wesleyan theology and discipleship practices is needed.
