Desert Song Community Church - Youth Pastor

Desert Song Community Church is a growing church in the very rapidly growing community of Redmond, Oregon. Check us out at Desertsong.org as well as on Facebook and Instagram.

We are looking for someone who is called and passionate about working with and ministering to middle school/high school students and their families. Currently ECHO Student Ministries meets on Sunday Nights 6-7:30pm. We average about 30-40 students and have swelled up to 70 in the past. ECHO Youth also has a strong Adult Staff to help with this ministry, as well as a very supportive Lead Pastor & congregation.
We see this staff position as full-time with a full-time financial package.

Redmond currently has two highschools, two middle schools, Redmond Proficiency Academy (Charter School) and Central Christian School.

ECHO Duties and Responsibilities
Run, oversee Sunday Night ECHO Youth Gatherings.
Love, Teach, Disciple, Gather and meet with students.
Attend youth school or special activities when possible.
Look for ways to reach new students.
Lead, build and invest in your youth staff.
Be accessible and help minister to students & their families.
Participate in and be supportive of Open Bible district, regional and national events and programs. (Summer Camp, Ignite etc)
Plan and take students to a youth conference or retreat once a year.
Support and promote Desert Song Mission outreach opportunities.
