Job Description

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

● Demonstrates a love for our Lord and His Church as evidenced in their lives ● Minimum of 5-8 years of experience working with kids, students, and families ● Proven team leadership experience and passion for holistic family ministry ● College degree required; seminary degree preferred ● Highly detailed and organized ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ● Music background preferred

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
● Provide pastoral leadership to all ministry operations affecting Family Life Ministry (birth through college). ● Develop a strong working relationship with the pastoral leadership team. ● Work hands-on with the gsKIDZ ad YOUTH teams to provide continued training and spiritual development ● Direct leadership of the High School ministry, while planning for a college ministry that does not yet exist. ● Coordinate details for ministry planning with the gsYouth and gsKidz teams. ● Work with Outreach Coordinator(s) to make sure mission opportunities are in alignment with gracespring’s missional strategy locally, nationally, and internationally. ● Oversee operational budget and other budgets tied to the Family Life Ministry. ● Establish strong relationships with students and parents, making sure there is a clear and consistent form of communication regarding ministry goals and objectives, and how events offered support those goals. ● Create relational opportunities that help to foster a sense of belonging for each ministry. ● Generate new ideas to keep Family Life Ministry relevant. ● Foster an environment with its eye on the future, always looking for new and innovative ways of reaching children, teens, and young adults with the gospel, maximizing the opportunities open to us through the schools.
