Director of Children and Youth Ministry

Job Description

The Director of Children and Youth Ministries is responsible for overseeing the planning,
organization, and implementation of educational and relational life stage-appropriate
programming for the spiritual formation of children and youth ages 3 through 12th grade. The
Director of Children and Youth Ministries will work closely with the Director of
Cross-Generational Ministries in developing a holistic ministry strategy that embraces young
people’s important role in the life of the congregation as well as encourages and equips the home
as ground zero for faith formation.
To be effective, the Director of Children and Youth Ministries must be sensitive to the needs of
our church community while focusing on our mission of growing a Christ-centered community
through life-changing service.

The focus of our Children and Youth Ministry is to provide relational and educational opportunities for all participants in the age-range, while creating space for parents and the congregation to live out their baptismal promises made to each child, supported by the Director of Cross-Generational Ministries.
