Job Description

The Student Ministry Discipleship Coordinator supports and fosters Jesus-centered, Footstep-leaving, Kingdom-focused community for CrossBridge Student Ministry (Ablaze) as a whole. The passion and heart of the Student Ministry Discipleship Coordinator is to equip and shepard students to experience Jesus for themselves and desire to make God known (Isaiah 43:7).

The following responsibilities describe the scope of your work:
Be part of the Ablaze teaching team, striving to communicate in alignment with the core values of CrossBridge.
Support the Ablaze team in providing communication, counsel, and encouragement to students, parents, and families.
— Wednesday Ablaze Gathering Coordinate and schedule teams run media and set-up, tear-down, and clean resources weekly during Ablaze.
Train, communicate with, and support lifegroup leaders.
— Student Staff (High School Leadership) Assist the High School Coordinator in the facilitation of student staff meetings and the discipleship and equipping of student leaders.
— Set-Up Coordinate the set-up of all necessary resources (chairs, tables, etc.) for all Ablaze, Sunday and CYP events.
— Sunday Middle School Ignite Support the Associate Student Pastor in the elements of Ignite each Sunday (teaching, games, media, student leadership (Spark), etc.)
— Summer Camp Recruit, train, communicate with, and prepare lifegroup leaders before and during the event.
Support the Ablaze team in camp preparation.
— Middle School & High School Overnight Events Assist the coordinators in the preparation and execution of these annual events.
— Mission Events Lead in the execution of annual missional events for both the Middle School & High School ministries.
Be an active member of a CrossBridge Lifegroup.
Lead a weekly reproducible disciple making group.
Establish a weekly sabbath (setting a day of the week to put down our work and find rest in Him).
As part of the team, help other ministries accomplish tasks as needed.
