Hire a Youth Pastor

Job Description

Position:
We are looking for an Associate/Youth Pastor who desires to see young people come to know Christ and grow in a relationship with Him.

Responsibilities:
Minister the love of Christ by sharing the Gospel with and discipling the youth at our church.
Schedule and oversee all youth functions outside of regular weekly services (fun outings, mission trips, etc.).
Work closely with the Children's ministry leader and follow the direction of church Pastor.
Play an active role in all church functions and support the various ministries at the church.

Qualifications:
Clear call of God for Youth Ministry.
Some formal ministry experience and education.

This is a paid position with some room for negotiation.

Mt Hermon Baptist Church

We are a church in rural southwestern Pennsylvania. We have a healthy congregation, with attendance of 90 on any given Sunday. We have a youth room and resources to support a youth pastor. We currently have a couple working with the youth, but they do not have the time to devote what is necessary for the youth group.
