Job Description

First Methodist Church Collierville is a new church plant just outside of Memphis. Though we are currently not aligned with a denomination, we are Wesleyan in our theology and way of worshiping. Our church is only seven months old, but is growing every week. We have a strong core of youth volunteers, but need someone at the helm. We have about 20 committed teens, but are looking to expand. The Youth meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, weekly, and look for opportunities for missions. We are excited to find a Youth Pastor to lead our Youth in a Christ-centered way as they navigate the challenges of this world.

We are a traditional congregation and are only about 7 months old. We are currently not affiliated with another denomination, but are in the process of discerning if we will affiliate or remain independent. We have a Wesleyan tradition. We have a strong group of youth and families who look forward to fellowship together each week and are excited to find a Youth Pastor or Director! What makes us especially unique is that we are gathering in a few different temporary locations as we grow our new church. We are only about 7 months old and are searching for a permanent location. We worship and gather for Wednesday night Youth group in different locations, but all are flexible and it is working well for the interim time!
