I would like to see the Student Ministry be gospel-centered, family-focused and leadership-producing. I believe the gospel is the foundation of a great ministry. It allows God to work in the students’ lives. I want to see students become the Christian leaders of tomorrow by becoming godly men and women. This all starts with family and the focus on encouraging them to grow together in the Word of God. Working with the parents is a key part to developing the students and providing an environment of love and understanding that is not always present in families today. Encouraging students to take an active role in the community is something I believe will help them grow in their faith. By working with the students on a monthly community outreach, it allows the students to gain a sense of value in their lives. I would also like to see missions be a part of the ministry. I believe students should experience the joy and power of taking God’s word out it to all the nations. I also want to see students mentor each other and I will help develop their accountability for one another. I will guide and encourage the youth leaders in their weekly lessons and their focus on the students. It would be awesome to see the students have fun and make great friends and memories within the Student Ministry. However, the main goal is to partner with the families and shaping the lives of the students in the image of Christ Jesus. As I have worked with students and their families, I believe this model works effectively with all who attend church and follow God in their lives. When we come together to encourage and provide for each other God will bless the church and the ministries through growth. I want to be apart of a ministry that is God honoring and willing to GROW the kingdom of God.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, '
