Additional information

From grace to service, what was to what could be through Christ. Over the past many years, God has been working miracles in my life by giving me salvation, presenting my purpose for his plan, and creating opportunities for my ambition to serve him. For it is God who created me, chose me, wrote a plan for me, and died for me. I have been most influenced by my Lord Jesus to be a servant and minister.
God gave me salvation with the blood of Jesus, and he gave me a new life as a child of God. I gave my life to the Lord on December 29th, 2017, at the yearly winter conference in Indiana with an organization called Cru. My life until this point was of depression and hopelessness. I was in college, but I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life or even the confidence to do it. I felt alone in this world. In early November, I walked into the weekly Cru meeting at our campus. I soon realized it was a Christian organization, but I wanted to stay because of the people that welcomed me in. I kept coming to the meetings and then last minute signed up to go to the conference in Indiana. I went there thinking it as a little vacation. They had two services every day, each for about two hours. The topic was about fully surrendering. Before this, I have never heard the gospel. On that Saturday night, I became overwhelmed with my sin and brokenness. I went into the prayer room, and I asked God to forgive me and to come into my life. After this, I became too overwhelmed with joy and peace that I didn't even think was possible. After this, I wanted to tell everybody what God has done. He has given me a new life. At this point, I felt my purpose was to serve the one who saved and created me.
He gave me a purpose for my life when it was going nowhere. After my salvation, I was ready to do God's work. I joined a church, went on my first mission trip, got baptized, started serving at my church, joined Cru leadership, got called to ministry, and completed my bachelor's in Christian Ministry at Regent University. Through all this and to this day, I am filled with the joy of the Lord. There were some trials during the last two years, and I know more will come in my life — these experiences and opportunities God has put in front of me. I had faithfully stepped out and said yes. Through that, I was able to grow in faith and do God's work. I experienced a 10-week mission trip I was on during the summer of 2019. We lived with a community of believers. We also worked together at a Bible camp for kids. This is where I develop my love for kids. I knew God was leading me to ministry, but this experience enhanced it and wanted me to be a youth pastor. As I began teaching services for the children on Sundays. Acquired a wealth of knowledge of understanding in God's word through my bachelor's program and ministry. Throughout the years, I have been growing in faith and the love of the Lord. The fact that he loves me and is in control, I do not have to worry. God gave me these experiences to fuel my purpose in him and serving him.
He has given me opportunities to serve him and bring joy to him and myself. The way that God has moved in my life is a miracle full of grace and love. God has gifted me with a loving and serving heart. God has shown me my love for kids. He has also shown me how we, as children of God, should come to him as children. Children are full of wonder and excitement in all ways of discovery. This wonder is something we lose when we grow up and see how broken the world is. Just as children have their parents and caregivers, who love and teach them. We as well have a father in heaven who loves and teaches us. Kids are exploring this new world that they have been created into just as I have been created in God's image and exploring new ways to enjoy him and his love. Coming back from my summer mission working with kids at the Bible camp, which I had enjoyed so much wanted to continue. So I prayed and asked God to open the door and allowed me to serve in the children's ministry at my church and as a kindergarten teacher. Ministering and serving kids is what God has inspired me and gifted me to do.
I have been called to be a servant and minister of our Lord Jesus. God has saved me, given me purpose, and inspired me to serve. Just in the short time since I have been saved, God has been faithful. I was unable to think of anybody else who inspired me in any way in this world. It is God to who I give glory and credit. I know that God is always here to love and lift me, while people in this world will let you down.
